They will cost millions of dollars to replace. Would the residents of the villages (i.e., Ardsley) who would like access be willing to pay their share of the capital costs to finance that majorrenovation? I didn't think so. Maybe those Ardsley residents who want access will use the Dobbs and Hastings pools from now on since they're so "neighborly." Nah, didn't think they'd do that either.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33594888.post-20478284454915303122009-06-01T14:08:56.328-04:002009-06-01T14:08:56.328-04:00why is called the town pool?

Taxes go up service goes down. I went to go water my plot at the Farm which I pay a fee for and when I went to go do this over the weekend I couldn't even find my plot. The grass is well over 2 feet in certain areas and a lot of my vegetables are doing poorly because it is impossible to find a hose to water anything. Paul I believe everyone that pays for a plot at the Farm should be given their money back. If no one is going to take care of this land maybe the town shouldn't offer such a thing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33594888.post-27158253753874013062009-05-31T20:33:12.877-04:002009-05-31T20:33:12.877-04:00Pool was lovely today. Contributions from workers and profits from the investments pick up the rest of the tab.DiNapoli said a "ballpark" figure of the higher rate in 2011 is 11 percent for most workers. He'll announce the final figure in September.
