THe Town Board approved a modified version of a resolution I introduced about 2 weeks ago requesting the Commissioner of the Dept of Community Resources to work with the Community Center's Advisory Board to consider as part of its recommended budget submittal, a budget to expand its programs, including Sunday operating hours at the Theodore Young Community Center.
This would include the pool. I favor a 7 day a week program.

Sounds like a nice idea if the budget increase isn't too significant.
Of course this needs to be examined in relation to overall town services, precisely where the additional funds would come from, and whether or not resources would need to be cut from another program or service to provide for the additional recreation.
