Perhaps we could have online Q/A options for departments like Yonkers and NYC have? It would be pretty easy to set up, and very efficient.
good policy
Bad policy. What if there are 100 questions? Will the Town Board ever get doen to its business? Or doesn't it matter?
I want a Town Govt that shows judgement and addresses the important things - like the 23% tax rate raise for unincorporated greenburgh, the tennis lawsuit, etc.
Does anyone think that questions will be answered truthfully.
Forget it.
They can't answer because they never study the problems presented to them in the first place.
The only way to get some answers one must foil the town and if it suits them to give you the information [provided it is in their favor]they will grant it BUT if it is against them you can sing dixie backwards and still no results.
Questions concerning the library were asked from the first day of the proposal, were they ever answered?WHY? because they knew that they were screwing the public.
How many times at town meetings questions were asked on the same subject and given proof of wrong doings were they ever answered?
The board has refused to answer many important questions presented by Krauss and Samis.
Were they ever answered?NO.
To get answers one has to complain to the New York State comptrollers office and then again the board does not follow the rulings presented to them by this agency.
In other words this board is above the law and they feel that what they say or do is final with no other questions asked.

Your argument made some sense, but it was killed when you said "important questions raised by Ed Krauss." Ed Krauss has never raised an important question. He's just a fatuous blowhard that needs to get a life!
