FREE CONCERT SATURDAY ON E HARTSDALE AVE...POST OFFICE ANNEX SHOULD CONTINUE

Bryan Gordon will be performing at the E. Hartsdale Farmers Market Outdoor Music Series Saturday, June 20th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the E. Hartsdale Train Station.
Bryan Gordon has been an integral member of the Hudson Valley rock music scene since the early 1990's. Bryan's lyrics are both autobiographical and vicarious, but I challenge you to figure out which is which. Unlike most singer/songwriters, Bryan is adept at the triumvirate of performance skills: singing, playing guitar, and songwriting. He isn't afraid to use all the notes in his range, and even some that you didn't think he should be going for! As a songwriter, Bryan's greatest strength is his ability to create a chorus hook that stays in your brain long after you'll left the corner of the bar you discovered him in. Check him out at www.bryangordon.net
Julie Corbalis will be performing at the E. Hartsdale Farmers Market Outdoor Music Series Saturday, June 20th from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the E. Hartsdale Train Station.
Julie Corbalis’s most recent CD Old Flames & New Names, released in November 2008, continues to receive positive media and fan attention. This CD has been featured in local NY newspapers, and the tracks “Johnny & June” and “Broadway” have been played on NYC radio stations WHUD (100.7), THE PEAK (107.1), as well as college radio. She was also recently featured in two prominent singer/songwriter showcases at the national venues The Bitter End, NYC, and The Towne Crier in Pawling, NY. Julie has also released two successful indie rock albums with the quartet Jules & the Family. They have toured the North East US and Ontario, Canada, and shared concert bills with global music stars including Colin Hay of Men at Work. Their tracks have been played on public, private, and internet radio throughout the US, Europe and Japan. Check her out at www.juliecorbalis.com

Better yet! Why don't we supply daily buses from Fairview to the PO? Maybe we can have them stop at the A&P too!

Good evening.

HARTSDALE FARMERS MARKET

Ah! So I'm assuming that you think we should boycott the Farmers Market so that it gets moved to Fairview?

no, this is hurting the shop owners on EHA

I dont live in Fairview

what are they going to sing? "singing in the rain"?

While I don't "boycott" the farmers market, I would never deal with driving down there on a Saturday morning. Why not move it up to Harts Brook or some other less congested area?

PORT CHESTER - Former elected officials from the village who served 10 or more years will no longer be receiving lifetime health benefits. The village board has eliminated health insurance for eight former trustees, a move that will save the village $70,000 a year and up to $1.8 million in future payments, the board said.

You have got to be kidding. The cleaning of the dreains were never on Regulas' agenda.
Don't bother calling Paul with this request he's still thinking that Regula was right in doing nothing .
Give the new commissioner a call .
He should be brought up to date by the residents and not by this difuntional government.

He is ready and willing to do whatever it takes to carry on the duties of his position.
This guy has got what it takes.

Get the facts straight - Big Top ran the satellite post office up until one week prior to their closing.

Rather than bragging about "free" concerts, how about fulfilling your promise of free access to Town Board meetings and work sessions? Cablevision (whose contract still isn't available for review by anyone outside the inner circle) DOES NOT provide free access to Channel 76 - you MUST have a decoder box to unscramble the encrypted signal. I guess you have rewritten your policy on Open Government to exclude anyone who might protest what you and your cohorts as a matter of course.
Please take a job in the private sector, get some training in fiscal matters, live like a real person in an ungated community, then return to public life - perhaps as a critic of the then-current regime.

Channel 76 comes to light MAYBE if there is a town hall meeting or a work session that is not too important to get residents up in arms.

This has been going on for months.
It's great to see how Verizon services other towns but Greenburgh.

We seem to receive meetings from White Plains,,Eastchester,,New Rochelle,,and Yonkers.

I guess our open government is no more in existance.

The cleaning of the underground drainage system should be the responsibility of the town. The town is now issuing summonses to private property owners claiming that they should be clearing these pipes and culverts. Private property owners are only responsible for the open culverts and/or basins on their property. They are not responsible for cleaning out the protected underground system - this is the Town's responsibility. Exactly what are we paying our taxes for?

Only 36 hours left until the Cablevision contract comes up for "discussion" by the Town Board - and no member of the public has seen a copy.
Five minutes to make a comment is completely meaningless without a copy of the proposed contract.
This is NOT OPEN GOVERNMENT - it's a crock of you know what.

Saturday morning Farmers Market and free concert series is one of my favorite parts of living in Hartsdale. For people like me, who live on E. Hartsdale Ave, it is so convenient to be able to get fresh fruits/veggies and free music, without having to load the kids into the car. I'm not sure whether the extra foot traffic helps the other businesses or if the extra competition hurts them, but from a resident's point of view, I'm glad to have the market and concert series! Paul: could you please post a listing of all music acts scheduled for the rest of the summer?? That would be very helpful too.
