Mr. Feiner eliminated my prior post on this subject. He and the Town Board have absolutely no respect for volunteers. To hold a reception after they stab them in the back is a snapshop of their true character. If you don't agree with Feiner on every moronic suggestion he has you might as well start counting your days. He has been stacking the boards and commissions with friends and campaign supporters - people who have absolutely no concern for the Town residents.
Feiner is in office nearly 20 years - it is time for a change. He has been here so long now that he thinks of Greenburgh as his domain to do with it whatever suits him personally. His adminstration has become a dictatorship. This is the man who ran in 1991 on a platform that included "term limits" because as he said, the prior Supervisor (Anthony Veteran) was in office too long. Mr. Veteran was in office for less time than Feiner. This is the man who ran on a platform in 1991 to "keep the green in Greenburgh" - you can apply this to 2 things; the environment and our gree money - both of which he squanders. There has been more development during his tenure than at any other time. Our taxes have risen over 200% during his tenure. So much for Green.
I would be more cordial than him and thank him for his service and ask him to move on. We need fresh blood and fewer blank checks for him to waste our money and resources.
Erase this if you wish - I will keep posting it.
