In the past, the Town Board has held meetings away from Town Hall --on different streets. Last year the Board decided to discontinue that practice.
I plan on proposing a resolution at the next Town Board meeting requesting that we hold a special Town Board meeting on East Hartsdale Ave in July --to update residents on the status of our revitalization efforts, to answer questions, to advise people of short term and long term plans, to discuss the consultant study of the flooding problems. And---to hear suggestions.
The resolution will be voted on in 2 weeks.

I think it's more professional and consistent to hold all town board meetings Town Hall.
This is a special circumstance, nothing wrong with that. The meetings at the parks were a little tired.
Since when has "professional" been a requirement (or even a goal) for a Town Board meeting?
Have you witnessed all the preening, posturing, bad manners, apathy, toleration of illegal and inappropriate actions by town employees, sleeping at the dais from the majority of the Town Board? Do you really think that moving from the hallowed confines of the Town Hall will make our paid majority behave any better than past history?
And if it is consistency you seek, merely re-elect Steve & Eddie, and you will get people who follow the leadership of a bully, make inane Dakfur resolutions and spend most of their time ruminating on their own political futures.
Yeah, I can see your reasoning for wanting more of the same!
The Town Board should go to the people, not the other way around.
Make Edgemont a village!!!! We don't like the town anyway we should have been part of Scarsdale all along!
Oh please, most of the Edgemont people do not want to be part of Scarsdale. What we want is to be treated fairly by the town.
