Great, just in time for my summer membership to expire :(
I understand that there is a study underway to examine the flooding problem. I'm wondering what the timetable is for the study, as well what actions have been taken in the meantime to reduce the possibility of future flooding.
Thanks for the update long over due. Now can you please update us on the group studying the follding issue on E. Hartsdale Avenue. While doing that please update us on the fantastic Meeting with Mr. Toby Ritter that took place in the early part of the Summer. One other note Moneys Worth car Rental moved out of the small office next to dairydel.Any update on the bakery which was to be open August 1 according to your post back then.Only a sign is in the bakery with no date.
To all politicians Please have your political signs down 2 weeks after election day otherwise those candidates should be fined for littering and not helping to beautify E. Hartsdale Avenue and Greenburgh. One other Note since we have a do not call list for telemarketing can we have one for people who have thier minds made up for no political calls or mailings. If people sign up it could save all politicians $$$ in mailing and phone bills. It will also be less aggrivating for those of us who have our minds made up. This goes for all politicians Not just Mr. Feiner.
sorry i meant flooding study not follding typo error.
The owner of the car rental agency at four corners is also the owner of the real estate.
As far as the political signs being taken down within two weeks of the election..............
Team Bernstein has already taken down most of the "I'm with Paul" lawn signs already.
It was my understanding that NYSC and the center that was housed there prior, was using the basement area without proper permits before the flood. It was widely known Al looked the other way.
Do you remember reading here, after the flood, that the club was waiting for permits before rebuilding? Seems like it took forever?
I do not know for sure but I suspect that there might have an exposed "glitch" as now that it was clear NYSC was using the basement, without a permit to do so, and there was a scramble to get them one. Did you hear of NYSC complaining? I wonder if they are part of the suit against the town. Anyone know?
I'm just saying......
I will contact Toby Ritter, the landlord of many of businesses on E Hartsale Ave this week and will ask for an update re: K Fung's, the bank and bakery. The last I heard: K Fung's was sold to another chinese restaurant, a new bakery will be re-opening and that a bank was interested.
Paul,
Before the owners of K.Fungs disappear, you might want to find out about all of the grease that they dumped into the sewer, for years, that contributed to the clogging of the line. They did not have the required grease traps and required grease disposal pickups.
Unless, course, they never changed the oil in their fry bins.
What's the timetable for the study? Also, what specific actions have been taken by the Town in the meantime to reduce the possibility of future flooding?
Thank you for updating on this topic.I look forward to rading the outcome of your next meeting with Mr. Ritter If you continue to update other posts I will think about changing my identity name but you have a lot of updating to do before that happens. Once again thanks for updating on this topic. It's a start anyway.
Mr. Feiner: By your non-response, can we assume that the Town lacks a timetable for the study and that no work has been done since the big storm?
