hi obama here
im mixed - where do i fit in?
It was predictable that the first poster would play the race card.
Can one- or two-member households apply?
What happens after the first purchaser wants to sell. Must the next purchaser also qualify? How much "profit" does the first purchaser get to keep? This could be a windfall to the lucky first purchasers. Bad decision to sell these units. These should be rental units, foreever affordable.
Do you realize what you are
starting here in GREENBURGH.
Since all the focus has been put on affordable housing the race card has emerged from the dead.
THings have been great up to now.
This is nothing but a sham. There are people living in the Greenburgh Housing Authority who make more than these salaries and nothing is done about it. I'm sure it's going to happen on these properties too!
Check into the public housing that you already have and see how many tennants make more than is allowed.
Why is it that you will not investigate this problem that was brought to you attention many times at town mettings?
You are just as guilty as those who abuse the law in not giving up their tax returns for evidence of their income.
Once you get rid of these parasites you will have more apartments available than you could imagine.
The board is doing a good job in checking out the apartments that need fixing but what is needed is a better way of screening who gets apartments.
You know who the people are that live in these complexes that are ripping off the government and by the way you are doing the same since you will not take action.
Will your commissioners report to you as to who in the affordable complexes do not belong there because they make way over the amount that makes them suitable for these apartments.
Do you realize that this is fraud?
If not you who is to audit the standings of these residents who have lived there from the onset while working and making better and larger salaries than many of us.
Why should this decietfulness continue to go on when the commissioners of housing and the town board know of what is taken place.
Sonia Brown this seems to be your baby, let's see what you can do to bring back some honesty in the affordable housing system.
You know what's going on since you have received many complaints .
Nothing was done before so let's see what you can do.
There are many Town employees making over $80'000 living there now. You want to be suprised! go ahead and check in to it. We can't keep our heads stuck in the sand anymore!
Police, Fire,Sanitation,Highway, etc...
What must be done to get these parasites out of the affordable housing complexes?
How many more complaints must be brought to light?
There are many people that need a roof over their heads and no one seems to have the b---s to make the right move in evicting them or charge them the going rate for their apartments.
Why is it that the town only goes after home owners for revenue[tax money].
This is fraud, if the town employees make so much money they should be paying their equal share since they have a very good income they could afford to pay the going rate.
Sonja open your eyes and your mouth there's something wrong with the housing authority methods of doing things.
If nothing is done town wide the the complains should be addressed to the Head Of HUD and have them investigate.
Why is it that this town has to be investigated for all the wrong goings on.
Why is it that honesty went out the door here in Greenburgh.
These complexes are subsidized by our tax money when we pay our fed.and state taxes and then we get hit with budget hikes that also subsidizes them.
We cannot keep doing this .
Wake up this has been going on for too long now we who pay taxes will be seeking aid since the reserves in our wells is running out.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
