The Greenburgh Nature Center had a reception this afternoon honoring Harold & Bette BUrson for their donation of a fantastic new website: www.greenburghnaturecenter.org--featuring great info about the nature center. I took my 10 year old daughter to storywalk at the nature center--we read a childrens book as we walked the nature trail. Different pages placed on stakes along the trail. Reading & exercise!
It's my hope that the Storywalk concept can be expanded to other trails in our parks system. I will be reaching out to the members of the parks advisory board.
