Why doesn't Mrs. Lanza just give the money directly to the Greenburgh Central 7 School District so that the program can be run directly by the school district it serves? Is it because the school district would never want to assume the risk of having a program run by Ray Thomas, who not only lacks a teaching certification, but doesn't even have enough credits for an associate's degree from a community college? Whatever the reason, in this time of fiscal austerity, this is no time for the Town to be sponsoring this program.

This program does not serve the Greenburgh school district. It serves only the children enrolled in the Greenburgh schools.

No other children in TOV have the opportunity to attend or transportation to Xposure.

There are so many things wrong with Xposure. Outrageous!

How about looking at teh good the Exposure Program DOES provide our kids........

There ARE two sides to EVERY coin. Some people in this town are ONLY focused on negativity. The Exposure Program provides a new learning experience. Doesn't learning mean ANYTHING to these critical people?

1) learning experiences are taught in the schools. The town should not be in the teaching business.
2) why is it accessible to only a handful of kids? Some kids are not deserving of the learning experience?
3) It's spelled "Xposure"

Go over to parks and rec programs run by the town and see who attends. Location out of the way....need a car to get to them. cost prohibitive.....even if you pay for the camp.....there is no way that transportation is available to those who cannot afford to pay for it......It's like a private country club. TDYF IS ON a main road way in the midst of a community that people can walk to if necessary. It is open to all residents of Greenburgh and is does not discriminate due to inability to pay. Not the case at the Parks dept. where if you do no have a car or cannot afford transportation, the programs are not available to you. People through out the town including school districts participate in programs. Unlike many rec programs, ethnic, social and geographic diversity is evident.
