Don't you have enough work to while you're being paid to be Town Supervisor? If you want to be a headhunter or recruiter you should find a job in that industry. Your heart is not in the right place - how could it be when you don't have one? You're a cruel & vindictive. You don't care about your own employees. All you care about is your fat paycheck & securing another term at our expense. When was the last time you walked through Hartsdale? The streets & sidewalks are filthy. There have been 4 dead plants left behind by Oporto - they are tossed among the debris in front of the vacant store. Don't we have a sidewalk inspector? Speaking of sidewalks, have you noticed how bad the handicap curbs are? Doesn't your DPW know how to install these so they are safe? They are feathered in with asphalt - your team actually created tripping hazards for the disabled. There's a right way to install them and a wrong way - guess which way your DPW installed them? There's halloween window painting on East Hartsdale this weekend...think you can someone to clean up the sidewalks and remove the dead plants from in front of Oporto. I'm betting you can't!

Certainly the Town Supervisor has enough work to do, BUT DOES HE WANT TO DO IT? (Sorry, but I don't know how to place the phrase in bold or underline.)

Let's start with collecting the $300,000 plus owed by the Greenburgh Housing Authority. How about the $2.7 million or so in past due parking tickets? How about eliminating the $100,000 payment to the Fairview Fire Disrtict, given that they pay their top personnel so well? Recovery of the $1.9 million from the Valhalla School District? The failure to renegotiate on a timely basis the contract with St. John's Hospital for the ATS facility that has already cost $50,000 (chump change).

The Cablevision protracted deal, which has already cost taxpayers in unincorporated Greenburgh anywhere between $200,000 and $400,000.

Or how about the $1.8 million that the Water Fund is owed by another municipality?

Do you need any more?

He has a lot he should be doing. But we can all see the dismal results.

Town Clerk or Town Board? The "lady" or the tiger?
Amazing and incredible...

Below is from the Town's website under meeting schedules. According to this, the November 23 Town Board meeting has vanished (the only November meeting) and there is only one December Town Board meeting scheduled, this on December 9.

Not bad for open government; that's one way to deal with the public and that pesky matter, the 2010 Town Budget.

Guess they couldn't book any entertainment on those nights.

Now you do, then you didn't.
Yes, it's back friends. The Monday November 23 meeting (the one that the Town Board resolved to open the Budget Public Hearing is back. No thanks to the Town Clerk.

Of course, it is still the only Town Board meeting in November and there is still only one meeting scheduled for December. So, if you want to comment on the Budget, it's only these two meetings; however,

Attention music lovers. The Town Clerk has just booked the Really Terrible Orchestra to perform all nine Beethoven Symphonies at the beginning of the November 23 Town Board meeting. Don't fret. It will be at no cost to the Town.

Someone in a previous blog concerning consolidation mentioned that Fire fighter Joyce only made 90 thousand plus much less that a Greenburgh fire chief.
the writer failed to comment to the fact that Joyce was on the force for nine years.
Joyce was at the correct pay scale for the time that he was on the job.
