Town Board to discuss outstanding library issues at 3:30 on Tuesday

The Greenburgh Town Board will meet on Tuesday at 3:30 PM to discuss outstanding library construction issues. The Town Attorney has invited our construction lawyer, architect and TRITON to attend the meeting. I would like as much of the meeting to be open to the public as possible. This is the people's library. I feel that the public should be kept informed of the reasons for the delays as well as updated on the status of the library construction efforts.
I intend to propose a resolution at the next Town Board meeting - a week from Wednesday - authorizing the library to use the auditorium at Town Hall as a reading room area, when others are not using the room. The current satellite library at Town Hall needs a comfortable reading area --where people can read magazines, newspapers, books. I would support giving the library any vacant space at Town Hall for a reading area.

If there are too many unsolved building problems, please, please do not go further with the plan.Paul this library will go way over budjet, and the people cannot be burdened with higher and higher taxes. Many people are having a tough time meeting the tax burden.Think of some of the senior citizens that owned homes for many years,do they have to sell. Yes some people voted the plan in,but many did not.please think real hard what you are doing.Try not to satisfy a chosen few.

Let's stop, this out of control train now! If there is anyway the town could overturn this vote, I think we should do it. All questions were obviously not answered before this vote was shoved down our throats. It's going to cost us a small fortune for this mess. It's a Shame, for 20 million dollars only 4 thousand people voted. Yes it was publicized but people were not use to voting in May, on a Town issue. LETS HAVE A RE-VOTE! PLEASE. If it's possible

Paul, please stop and listen to what's happening. There are too many things that have gone unanswered. Listen to Samis. He knows his business. Samis please attend this meeting ,you are our only salvation.

Paul, you and your hesitancy about the library from the outset are the problem. Your red tape caused a powerful librarian to give up in dispair and leave. If this project doesn't come to pass it will be on your head. Why don't you try to get positive and make this happen on budget and on time. That would be a real, lasting feather in your cap.

A mid-afternoon meeting of some significance is a great opportunity to provide access via a webcast. Why not make Greenburgh government open to people who need to be at work when important issues will be presented?

If the librarian resigned,he or she had to know what wrong doings were going on.DON'T blame PAUL for this. What is it going to take for people,to see that there was poor planning from the onset?PAUL was against the plan from the onset, but the four chosen seat warmers did their usual thing,WE ARE THE BOSSES HERE.If the person resigned,it could have been because he or she was of age. Let's be fair.

Diana Juettner, who lives in Ardsley, must resign her position as liaison from the town board to the greenburgh library to avoid an impropriety.

THE LIBRARIAN THAT RESIGNED WAS THE BIGGEST BUDGET ABUSER THAT EXISTED IN THE TOWN-- SHE HAD COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE PUPPETS ON HER BOARD & PLAYED THEM TO THE FULLEST--- IT WAS NO SURPRISE THAT THERE WAS A CONTINUAL EXODUS OF HER HELP, DURING HER TENURE!!
