Tying housing to jobs is VERY VERY POOR public policy.
It parallels the situation in which one's access to health insurance is tied to one's employment - and we all know how well that works!
Now, when one becomes disabled and can no longer work, one is sure to lose both one's health insurance and one's home.
George Bush would sure approve -

There are alot of people living in the Greenburgh Housing complexes
(100,90 Manhattan Ave and 33 Oak) who make too much money according to the charts for these new afordable housing units. Everyone knows there are police/firefighters, and Greenburgh employees making more than than allowed but, are still living there. Same thing is going to happen where ever the new afordable housing units will be built.
The Town just won't do anything about it but keep giving these properties tax breaks!
