new places to eat in hartsdale

NEW PLACES TO EAT IN GREENBURGH----GOOD NEWS FOR OUR LOCAL ECONOMY!

Hurricane Grill and Wings at the former Mitty’s Steak House on Central Ave hopes to open up on Central Ave, south of the 4 corners.. The plans are in the review stage and construction should start soon. They offer wings, burgers, fish, sandwiches and appetizers. This is the site of last year’s filming scene of the Other Guy’s starring Will Farrell. That movie just opened up. The space was vacant for 3 years.

Benjamin Steak House at the former Mighty Joe’s Restaurant. This is their first restaurant in Westchester the others are in Manhattan and Queens. Construction is underway.

Prime Barbeque Grill recently opened at the four Corners in Hartsdale.

Again, the Supervisor is out of touch and misinformed. Mitty's has been vacant for more than five years...

Since you're on the subject of Hartsdale, what are the plans for the 9/11 Memorial? Are you going to hold a memorial service in front of the this blank canvas? There's a resident who lives just up the road off Harvard who lost a relative on 9/11 - this must smack her in the face each and every day. Shame on you Paul Feiner!

Don’t worry Fed Up. Paul will suffer for his display of fragrant disregard and the desecration of the monument to those murdered on 9-11. He will ultimately have to answer for his actions but what rational excuse for his shameful actions can he give?

I’ve heard that a deal was struck with Sams Club to have them donate the money to repair the memorial……in 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm assuming that the adhesive to add the plaque on the wall thanking Sams will be as competent as the one used to hold Westchester Gov., Rotary and Greenburgs accolade plaques that still remain on the desecrated wall. Unlike the adhesive that held the memorial itself together. Priorities, priorities!

Maybe he will ponder his actions (non-actions?), whilst chewing on his hot dog the taxpayers and families of 9-11 victims paid for, at the Greengurgh sponsored BBQ in Fairview on the 21st.

He has asked every, single relative of a 9/11 victim, who has requested him to repair the wall, if they would donated THEIR resources to repair the memorial. Imagine that!
Enjoy your hot dog , Paul! Be careful not to choke!

Isn't it ironic that the Town Board can vote to approve the acceptance of bribe? They no sooner gave site plan approval to Sam's to expand their tire service (within a watercourse buffer) and at the same time voted to accept a donation from them for the wall. They did the same thing with Westchester BMW - a site plan was before the planning board for approval and the Town Board voted to accept the donation of two Mini Cooper vehicles. Imagine that!

Yes, it is. I don't believe it has been resolved yet. Has it? Fed Up, do you know the amount of the bride? According to Paul, "it will take 10's of thousands to repair the wall"

I don't know the exact amount and I don't believe the amount was disclosed, only that Sam's was going to pay for it.

Thank you Fed Up. One more question: Are you aware of any other action by the Ethics Committee other than to send Sam's "a letter referring to the report on accepting gifts"?

I stopped following the Ethics Committee - they are nothing more than Paul Feiner's puppets.

On the subject of 9-11, I'm trying to make a short video. Does anyone know the name or the whereabouts of the lady who got the wrong size coffee from the Hartsdale bagel store on 9-11, and she stopped to argue with them, and as a result she missed her train and was not in her office when the towers came down? If anyone knows her, I'd love to contact her to interveiw her for the video I'm making. Thanks.
