SHOULD COUNTY LEASE EMPTY PARKING SPOTS ON CENTRAL AVE AND TURN THEM INTO PARK/RIDE FOR COMMUTER BUSES?

Should the town ask the county to temporarily lease vacant parking lots on Central Ave and turn them into parking areas for commuters who would like to take the bus into Manhattan?
Currently, there are no parking spots available north of White Plains for commuter parking. Some people park their cars on Central Ave illegally-- they do so at their own risk since some of the landlords on Central Ave tow or ticket cars.

What a joke////
Comercial development is not permitted but parking which is commercial is being considered.
Boy what is happening with this town.
Paul who is comming up with these ideas.
The county doesn't even take care of their roads how will they take care of these parking lots.
Please shelve this idea.
First of all your civic associations will not go for it .
Why start more trouble.
You got the county to join in the purchase of Taxter Rd. and now you want this idea to go foward.
Please we are burdened enough with ideas we do not need anymore.

Hey, do you work in the city? If you did you would appreciate the need for parking on Central Ave for Greenburgh commuters who wish to take advantage of the bus to NYC-especially Wall Street.

Yes I do work in the city but I do not want to see the empty lots used as parking lots.

Absolutely not. (And I work in NYC and sometimes take the express bus.) Now please get back to supervising the operations of the town's departments.

Most of the bus users park in the shopping center lots.
Has a county legislatore made another deal with you to get more residents to use the county bus system
We do not need this stupid idea to go any further.

We do not need to do the county's work when there is so much neglected work to attend to in the town. (Plus, it's not needed anyway.)

We do not need anymore buses on Central ave.
The people that ride the buses do so everyday.
Many walk to the bus stop from the apartments ,others drive and park their cars wherever with no problems.
So please stick to the town problems because the county wants you do their dirty work again..
The county has enough buses to accommadate the public in Greenburgh.
