With the antiquated Supervisor position dwindling away and being replaced by professional structures, how many members could this Association have, and what does it do?

The Town Supervisors Association recognizes the talents our Supervisor has. This is a prestigious honor.

I'd like this Association to tackle dismantling the antiquated township system altogether.

The original purpose of townships no longer represents Greenburgh's reality. The unincorporated silliness was designed for the rural/farming/forested areas. Edgemont, Hartsdale and Fairview should now be their own entities, and the bits and pieces west of the Sprain Brook can belong to their school district villages. Rye Town and Pelham (all villages; town in name only) are the models we should follow; it's so much more fair for all. (Harrison, Scarsdale, Mount Kisco have the ideal setup to get around the old-fashioned township structure.)

Paul should continue to promote savings and sharing during his tenure as President.

Can I ask a question ? Why are the taxes for the Hartsdale Fire Department so high ?

They dont even respond to EMS calls ???

Anyone ???

Fire taxes are separate from town taxes. We elect our own fire commissioners annually

regarding fire dept taxes - i strongly suggest you hunt down the eye opening series on fire district expenditures done by newsday about 2 years ago - this may helpy explain why the taxes are so high

I wish people would stop complaining about taxes!! you should have been concerned 2 years ago when you voted to waste 20million dollars on the Library

To the jackass who keeps posting about taxes in Hartsdale Fd why don't you run for commissioner in December and do something about it!

The town does not have any control over the independently elected fire districts.

Does this mean he will be too busy to continue scrweing Greenburgh?

If the firemen respected the volunteers things would be different.
Firemen hate the volunteers because they say the volunteers are taking their jobs away.
No one wants to be a volunteer anymore because of the unrest with the paid guys.
If we had more volunteers taxes for the fire department would be less.
The fire dept together with their union are the ones to blame for the big hikes.
The town has nothing to do with this tax and ditto goes for the school. No one watches both of these budjets. What ever they want they get,and we the residents have to pay.
