REQUESTING BD TO APPROVE RESOLUTION WED - 7 DAY A WEEK POOL AT THEODORE YOUNG COMMUNITY CENTER
At the last meeting of the Town Board the members of the Board promised to approve a resolution at the meeting this Wednesday night to ask the Theodore Young Community Center Board and administration to consider 7 day a week programs at the center. The pool would also be open 7 days a week. I hope the Board will keep their commitments and approve the resolution this Wednesday.

Sounds like a nice idea, but what's the specific budget being proposed? Will funds be reduced from some other town service to pay for this? It would be irresponsible to consider such a resolution without the specific financial information known in advance.
How much more money will it cost the taxpayers.
You should up the usage fees,to pay for the extra day.
Leave the taxpayer out of this problem,go after the people that want the pool opened seven days,and you will find out that if they have too pay they will back out.
We all want something for nothing.
