Where is the dog swim? Will village residents be allowed?

Has the Town purchased an insurance rider? As the presence of dogs in a public pool is not an anticipated use, I'm willing to bet that the Town's insurance does not cover any liability.

For the love of your constituency, THINK FIRST - then think again, then plan, then and only then, do it.

Has anyone noticed that Feiner has done virtually NOTHING in terms of providing parks for active recreation, as oposed to open space? So he has to point to things like a dog swim. And like he would care -- isnt there a pool at his gated community.

Ignoring the rotting trees along Central Avenue was a huge (financial) success. Then a tree fell over, killing a man and paralyzing his wife and the Town was woefully underinsured.
Some of Mr. Feiner's troubles can be traced back to that little incident.

Dogs are mans best friend, I think its good of Mr. Finer to give back to our four legged friends. The great thing about dogs is that they don't care what political party you come from, and they don't vote. If only our two legged friends would start thinking about whats best for our community.

No village residents, if we can not go to your schools, you cannot come to our dog park.

¡¿HUH?!

Plenty of students from Unincorporated Greenburgh attend village schools. I'd venture to guess that there might be more students in the Ardsley School District who are from Unincorporated Greenburgh than from Ardsley Village; same with Elmsford School District. Entire neighborhoods from Unincorporated Greenburgh are in Hastings School District, Irvington School District, etc.

I think you'd better check the school district maps before using that as an argument:

Sounds like a cute idea that's been successful in the past, but checking on liability and insurance would be a wise move in advance.

Excuse me data, Can you explain to me why the districts lines are where they are?
When you go by the Data 9 times out of ten you loose, or an our case our children loose.

there is no such thing as a "village school." there is a school district that crosses municipal lines. shame on the parents of students who live in the unincorporated sections of greenburgh who use village resources (such as village parks/ police for school functions) but do not pay for them and then turn around and deny actual village residents access to unincorporated parks such as veteran park.
