"NOTE: BRING YOUR RESUME!"

This is how real companies operate.
Not like the Town of Greenburgh conducts its business which might even more be concerned than a private company and want to know with whom it is doing business.

Case in point.

I don't know the man; I have never met the man; I have nothing against him personally; I just am curious.

Donald Cannon.

Member of the Citizens Budget Committee -- no resume.

Volunteer full-time member of the Xposure faculty -- no resume.

Why do I care? Because Xposure, the after school program hired by the Town now calls itself a "movement". Residents have heard that the students are paid a nominal stipend of money (assumed at around $3 per week) to learn and that they would use this money to "invest" in the stock market under the guidance of Xposure.

And at the Town Board meeting held two meetings ago at the TDYCC, Mr. Cannon was introduced as the financial guru of Xposure. And not only a volunteer but also one who believes so completely in the program that he contributed $1000 to it.

So what, you may comment. At the same meeting, a child who had won $500 in a competition was brought up to the front of the room to announce that he was going to "invest" $400 of this through Xposure.

You see it's not just $3 or $10 that the children and/or their parents have discretion over.

So, if Mr. Cannon is the Xposure financial guru and the money is being gathered and harvested on Town property through a Town-sponsored program, I feel strongly that residents should know something about the guru's bonafides.

Apparently no one on the Town Board feels the same way as I have several times requested to see Mr. Cannon's resume. I have even FOILED for it but of course the Town doesn't have it.

By now, word of my interest might have even reached Mr. Cannon. But still no resume.

Only at places like the subject of this post, Graham Windham, are resumes considered important.
