Manhattanville College is an independent, co-educational liberal arts institution located 30 minutes from New York City in Purchase, NY. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Academic Resource Programs or ARP (MAP, HEOP, PROV, CSTEP).

Responsibilities: (75% of HEOP, MAP, PROV)
* Meet and greet students, parents, faculty, and other college administrators in the ARP office.
* Proofread, copyedit, and type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.
* Generate and maintain accurate ARP headcount and student files.
* Attend administrative meetings when necessary, take minutes & follow through with issues raised.
* Maintain a master calendar of work schedules, vacations, meetings, & conferences for ARP staff.
* Hire and supervise student workers.
* Update and maintain ARP alumni database.
* Update HEOP/MAP student status in the CARS system.
* Assist in the development and implementation of all aspects of the two-week residential Pre-Freshman Summer Program.
* Responsible for designing, copyediting, proofreading, soliciting submissions, layout, and composing articles for the ARP newsletter (The Achiever).
* Assist with planning and publicizing all ARP events; singly responsible for Annual Holiday Reception and Senior Dinner.
* Assist with completion of biannual and annual reports.
* Create and maintain the website for the ARP.
* Serve as office liaison to other offices and other colleges in HEOP region.

(25% of CSTEP)
* Maintain updated CSTEP Roster.
* Create and Maintain CSTEP Database.
* Prepare Summer Program packets.
* Prepare fliers, memos and order food for CSTEP activities and events.
* Assist in the completion of CSTEP Final Report and proposal documents.

* Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's considered.
* 2-3 years office experience.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Publisher or other web design software strongly recommended or willingness to be trained.
* Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and handle many different tasks simultaneously.
